A half-day “mini-conference” focused on maternal health in rural Pennsylvania. The program will explore key issues affecting pregnant and postpartum patients, with a particular emphasis on intimate partner violence, maternal mental health, and substance use during and after pregnancy. Sessions will also address the unique challenges and opportunities involved in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to pregnant and postpartum individuals in rural Pennsylvania.
From Awareness to Action brings together health providers, advocates, and community members to look closely at how maternal health and intimate partner violence intersect in rural communities. 🩺
