We offer accompaniment to medical, police, and court proceedings related to domestic violence and sexual assault, ensuring survivors are not alone during these challenging times.

FAQs About What We Do

WRC offers services to those experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and/or human trafficking in Lackawanna and Susquehanna Counties. Services for survivors’ non- offending significant others are available as well.

No. All of WRC’s services are offered at no cost to survivors and their non-offending significant others.

WRC offices are open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. WRC hotline is available 24 hours a day.

WRC most commonly assists dogs and cats, but will provide a safety plan and work diligently to provide assistance for any companion animal you have under your care.

WRC’s Pet Program can assist survivors and their pets with short-term safe house or kenneling accommodations, and meet other varying needs depending on available resources. WRC’s Pet Program can also provide supplies for several pets including food, crates, pet carriers, bowls, litter pans, cat litter, pet beds, collars, and leashes to name a few.
